Girls! Girls! Girls!

So here was a pre-piece im working on these were done with sharpies and watercolor, then scanned in and cleaned up. These are all piece that will be screened printed so i think it will be interesting to see how they turn out with paint compared to marker and watercolor. i was playing around with color, numbers, *if you look close you can find numbers 1-5 in helvetica on these girls.* well here it is so far lets hope it works well with screens.

So this is a design for a screenprint, im working on. I always thought it would be fun to try to design one of this images even though this style is being raped by your local Zumiez i still like it

Summer screenprints away!

So This is a screenprint i just barely did. It one of the first times i've  done a hand drawn screenprint and i was excited that it turned out well. I want to get this 70's hippie feel so i mimicked that "Rolling Stone" typeface. The picture isn't the greatest because i took it with the I-phone but there will be a better picture soon.

INK 360

This was a project that i did to help raise awareness on green printing, my focus was on Soy inks.

I designed a set of 4 pieces explaining the benefits of using soy ink. On each piece there were directions explaining that there are flower seeds in each piece. So when your were done reading it you can put it in water then bury the packet, and flowers would grow from it. (it was trying to show a more tangable way to recycle) Each piece was also an exploration into typography.  Also i wanted a to create a cool grungy ink splatter flower creation for each piece

So i got bored and decided to design this little piece. It looks like a poster or maybe a cd cover, ehh who knows? enjoy!  ends up i just used it for my I-phone background, so far.
